Relatives of Steve Franklin

This genealogy is partially hypothetical and the entries are still in flux. Many have been documented. Some have not. Caveat lector!

In general, to avoid unneeded complexities, I have used the spellings of names used in my written sources. I will leave it to others to worry about the "correct" spellings, if indeed there are such things in a multilingual, multialphabetical genealogy.

Countries listed in square brackets are those where the referenced cities may now be found. I am not totally nuts! "Russia" refers to places that were in the Pale of Settlement but are not necessarily now to be found in the Russian Republic. A false consistency is the bane....

Exact dates of birth have been left out for living individuals. Please let me know if there is anything that really bothers you. If I can change it without ruining the integrity of the site or hurting its usefulness, I will consider making changes.
