The census of 1900 has Martin's birth as 1862.

Martin died sometime after July 14, 1929. That is the date of a marriage notice for his daughter Zionette in the Chicago Tribune. ^{2 3 6}

  Marriage Notes:

Menachem and Chaya Beile became engaged in 1884, sometime before April, in St. Louis. Chaya was not yet 16. They were married on the 10th of Elul, 5644.

The census of 1910 has the couple married for 27 years on April 21, 1910. ^{1 8}
