Theresa COOPER (1893-1967) |
Theresa COOPER 2 3
Another name for Theresa was Alte. General Notes: Theresa and Archie ran a department store in Madison, S. Dakota, where William Saul Bloom's son Joe worked during the Depression. There is a family story about Joe's encounter with bandits in the wilds of South Dakota. One can imagine the incongruity of a recent graduate of the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science riding around on his bicycle in an area that had only become a state in 1889. Theresa and Archie left for Phoenix upon the death of their son in 1944 on Leyte Island in the Philippines.
