The census of 1930 has Morton's age as 38. "Martin" and Anna are also listed (and crossed out) with Morton's mother, Catherine (Katie) Franklin. Here, Morton's age is given as 34. Morton's sister Bessie appears here also, partially erased and written over with "Harry," Morton's brother.

Morton's death certificate has his year of birth as 1892 and his age as 50/49. The census of 1900 has it as Dec. 1891. His WWI draft registration card has it as February 3, 1892.
