  Research Notes:

Ida's tombstone has her age as 73 on November 11, 1925. The manifest of the SS Oscar II has it as 50 on December 14, 1904.

Ida's American name is given as Ida on the census of 1920. It becomes Fannie on her son's death certificate of 1946. It appears as Fannie on Samuel's SS-5 a year before his death, and it is Fannie on her tombstone of 1925. She is listed on the manifest of the SS Oscar II in 1904 as Feige Frenkel. 1 2 3 4 5

1. Residence, Nov 1, 1904, Ukrajenskaja Meszdu Kazanskoi and Trojetskoi Sts., Ekaterinoslav, Ekaterinoslav, [Ukraine], Russian Empire. 6 Ida lived at the home of Nechemje Simanowitza. The Russian language address seems to have been rendered into Polish orthography, possibly by Wolke Swojetzkie.

2. Embarkation, Dec 14, 1904, Copenhagen. 5 6 Ida sailed on the SS Oscar II of the Scandinavian America Line out of Copenhagen, Denmark.

3. Immigration, Dec 27, 1904, Ellis Island, New York. 2 5

4. Residence, Dec 1904, 331 Kauffman St., Philadelphia. 5 "331 Koffman St." was the residence of her son "S Frenklin." "331 Coffmann St." was the address of David Snader in September of 1904.
