Meyer N WEISS 2Other names for Meyer were Meyer SHERSHEFFSKY and Meyer SURAWSKY. General Notes: December 24, 2004: Isaac Pliner has been found at Baltimore in August of 1904 arriving from Bremen on the SS Hannover. Isaac is coming to see "Meyer Surausky" at the address of Meyer Weiss, which appears to indicate a change of name on the part of Meyer. Lois Sernoff suggests this surname may be identical to that of one family that intermarried with the Sosnovkys, the Sharovskys. This further confirms my suspicion that many of my relations were more closely related than is at first apparent. 1 Research Notes: The census of 1920 has Meyer's immigration as 1901. Noted events in his life were: 1. Immigration, 1899. 3 2. Residence, Jun 6, 1900, 424 N. 2nd St., Philadelphia. 3 Ed #194, sheet 6B. 3.
