Nathan was a good friend of Harry Franklin and a fellow photoengraver. I personally recall visiting Nat at his home in the Philadelphia suburbs with my father Harry and one of my uncles on the Bloom side, either Joe or Phil. Nathan lived in a row house not unlike my own. ⁵
