bullet  Research Notes:

The census of 1910 has Simon's immigration in 1891.

The letters from Shmuel Hurwitz suggest that Simon was younger than his three brothers, Shlomo, Shaul, and Isaac, and was "too young to do anything" in October of 1886. As of July, 1884, Simon was not yet born. There may have ben some confusion between Simon and his brother Zalel (Charles), who was born in 1886.

Bill Lucker has September 10, 1873, as date of birth. This date appears on the WWI draft registration. 1 7 9 10
