  Research Notes:

William died on 4 Tishri, 5715, in the Jewish calendar.

He does not appear in the US Census for Hartford, Conn, in 1900 implying he had already moved to Philadelphia.

His country of birth is given in the 1930 census as Poland. His immigration is given as 1893, his age as 53 implying a year of birth of around 1876. The census of 1900 also gives William's birth as March 1876. 1871, which is found on his tombstone, appears to be too early a date, since he had at least one older brother. His WWI draft registration has January 14, 1874.
