  Marriage Notes:

The census of 1930 has Nathan and Elizabeth both 53 years old and 23 years old at their marriage. This is out of line with the ages of their children. However, if their ages in 1930 are extrapolated from those of the census of 1920, a marriage at 23 years old would place their marriage somewhere between 1890 and 1894, which is in agreement with the birth of their first son. ¹
