  General Notes:

This may be the same person as "Abe Chanock."

The wife of Robert A. Chanoch, Edith Sheekman, was the sister of Arthur Sheekman, drama critic for the Chicago Daily Times and various New York newspapers and later screenwriter for the Marx Brothers who was, on occasion, refered to as the "fifth Marx brother." Arthur married the incredibly gorgeous Gloria Stuart, qv., at Mexico City. Gloria was nominated for an academy award for her performance in Titanic. Bill Lucker is distantly "related" to the actual Marx Brothers on the non-Chanoch side of his family. These details are in the possession of Cousin Bill but have not been posted here.
