| George F FRANKLIN
(1882-After 1930) |
George F FRANKLIN 1 2
Another example of the middle initial "F", endemic to the Morris (son of Moshe Nisan) Franklin branch of the family.
This may or may not be the George F Franklin who lived in Arkansas in the '20s and '30s and manufactured and sold women's clothing there. There are strong similarities among the entries on the various census forms, but the signature of the George F Franklin on the WWI draft registration card from Arkansas doesn't appear to match the signature on Nathan Salkin's petition for naturalization. George does, however, disappear from the Baltimore City Directory after 1913, and his father ends up selling real estate rather than working as a blacksmith, though he eventually returns to the trade.
